About Me

I’m a sister, a friend, an aunty, a daughter and a passionate believer in improving our world.

A few things about me:

1. I’m the oldest of three children; my brothers have told me that makes me bossy on occasion!
2. People often tell me I’m a “non-engineer” engineer – I think that means I’m good with words, people AND numbers
3. I’m a citizen of 3 countries – Barbados, Canada and Trinidad & Tobago
4. Food is my favourite way to learn about people and places
5. The 3 things I always pack first – my books, my passport and my iPhone!
6. I believe spirituality is more important than religion.
7. My friends and family are priceless, and so are yours (really, even the weird ones!)
8. I’m intent on leaving the world a better place than I found it.
